Opening Camera and Taking Pictures
You take pictures and record videos using the Camera application.
You can also view your pictures with the Gallery application.
IMPORTANT

To open the Camera application

Touch the Camera icon
Launch screen.
Camera opens in Landscape mode, ready to take a picture
or record a video.
Touch the screen to change settings.
To take a picture
1. Open the Camera application.
2. To control your picture exposure manually, touch the screen
to open the camera settings.
3. Frame your subject on the screen.
You can zoom in or out by touching the screen and then
touching the Zoom control
4. Touch the Shutter icon
Be sure to clean the protective lens cover with a microfiber cloth before
taking pictures. A lens cover with smudges from fingers can cause blurry
pictures with a "halo" effect.
on the Home screen or in the
Drag to switch between Camera and Video
modes.
Touch to take a picture or to begin recording
a video.
Touch to access your pictures gallery.
