Function
A mixer mechanism in the hopper ro-
tates when the spreader is set in mo-
tion. This prevents the material that you
want to spread from accumulating in
front of the outlet opening.
The size of the outlet opening can be
set by using the adjustable stop (Figure
1, No. 1) and the control lever (Figure 1,
No. 2).
Operation
Risk of injury from rotating parts
!
Do not place your hands inside the
hopper.
Risk of injury from chemicals
!
Protect your eyes and wear gloves
when you are working with chemicals.
!
Caution
Even when the spreader is at rest, mate-
rial can exit from the spreader and dam-
age plants.
Set the control lever (Figure 1, No. 2) to
"OFF" before you refill the spreader
and when the spreader is not operating.
Attachments
Attach the spreader with the bolt sup-
plied for that purpose and the wire pin
to the towing vehicle (refer to Figure 2).
Set the rate of spread
From the manufacturer's specifications,
determine the consumption and form
of the material you want to spread
(such as 30 g/m², coarse).
Select a material with similar character-
istics from the table below.
Set the adjustable stop (Figure 1, No. 1)
to the associated reference value.
