Additional Safety and Operation Instructions
Check if the machine voltage is the same as that of

the power grid before starting the equipment.
Check the oil and gasoline level before trying to start

the engine. The gasoline-powered motor coming out
from factory, uses only regular gasoline, IT DOES
NOT USE 2-STROKE OIL.
Carefully read the instructions and get familiar with

the controls and proper used of the equipment.
Remember that the operator / user is the sole

responsible for any damage to property or injury.
Use the shredder on a flat, level location.

Avoid operating the equipment in moist places.

Use the equipment in environments with appropriate

lighting.
Before feeding any kind of foliage, start the motor

and wait for it to reach maximum revolution.
Do not introduce anything in the equipment with

the motor off.
Do not use the equipment during periods of power

supply failure.
Whenever conducting any cleaning or maintenance

operation, first make sure the engine is off, that the
cutting blade is stopped and remove the extension
cord from the socket and the spark plug cable from
the gasoline-powered engine.
If the equipment starts to vibrate, switch it off

immediately and unplug it from mains. Check the
cause of the vibration as it indicates that the
equipment needs adjustment and repair.
Check the status of the power supply cord and never

fix it with insulating tape.
Never use water jet to clean the equipment; use a

cloth soaked in mild detergent.
Clean the cutting assembly after each operation to

prevent material from accumulating in the blade
shaft.
Attention!
Always check if all screws are well
secured, especially the blade holder.
Always keep the blade holder set to
assure the good performance of the
shredder.
Never operate a shredder machine with an open

cover or without belt protection guard.
If the motor does not start when switched on

(locked), switch the motor off immediately.
If you find any abnormal event, switch it off and call

the nearest TRAPP Authorized dealer.
Warning!
When the shredder is operating, avoid
putting your hand inside the green crop
feeder or in the upper exit.
Warning!
When cleaning or servicing, make sure
the equipment is off and the blades
still as they continue to move for some
seconds after the equipment shuts off.
Warning!
Gasoline is highly flammable.
