III.IV Assembly instruction hoop lock
A 6.4-mm diameter drill bit has to be used to drill the holes.

Step 1:
Place the intermediate plate 8 mm below the hoop bracket (see figure 3).

Drill a hole in the ladder upright pos. 1. Ensure the central hole is in the groove of the ladder upright (figure 3, pos.7).

Pop rivet through the intermediate plate and ladder upright.

Step 2:
Adjust the plate which has been attached by the pop rivets.

Drill holes in positions 3 and 4 in the ladder upright.

Step 3:
Attach the hinge of the hoop lock using the pop rivet to the
-
intermediate plate (position 2).
Step 4:
Position the hoop lock and intermediate plate, so that the holes are
-
above one another.
If necessary, ream the holes.
-
Pop rivets pos. 3 and 4 through the hinge, intermediate plate and
-
ladder upright.
The hoop lock is now attached to the ladder. To be able to lock the hoop lock, the
angle section now has to be attached to the other side of the ladder.
Step 5:
Close the hoop lock to enable the height of the angle section to be
-
determined (figure 4).
The angle profile has to be positioned approximately 3 mm below the
-
U-shape profile.
Step 6:
Drill holes in grooves (pos.7) of the ladder upright (pos. 5 and 6).

Pop rivets pos. 5 and 6 through the angle section and the ladder
-
upright.
The assembly of the hoop lock is now complete and the padlock can be attached.
III.V Assembly and/or repair of replacement parts
Replacement parts supplied by Altrex must be fitted to the correct Altrex product and in the same way as the part that is replaced.
Assembly (attachment) and/or repair is effectuated at the own risk and expense of the client. Altrex is not liable for damage caused
by incorrect assembly and/or repair. Against payment, Altrex can be called in for the repair of your product and/or the assembly of
the parts in question.
III.VI Warranty Conditions
This Altrex product has been designed, manufactured and tested with the greatest care. Should this product be used in accordance
with the instructions and its intended use, a warranty will apply under the following conditions:
1) Altrex guarantees the reliability of the product and the quality of the materials used for the product.
2) We will rectify any defects that are covered by warranty by replacing the defective part, or the product itself, or by supplying a
part for replacement.
