Before connecting the appliance compare the specifications for the

source for operation. This data must agree in order to avoid damaging
the appliance.
The power adapter connected to the appliance must always be easily

accessible so that the appliance can be quickly disconnected from the
mains power supply in an emergency.
Ensure that the appliance power adapter cable is not damaged and

that it is not laid over hot surfaces and/or sharp edges, otherwise it
could be damaged.
Ensure that the power adapter connecting cable is not tightly stretched

or kinked.
