installation
1. wait at least 2 hours between moving your fridge freezer and plugging it into the electricity supply to allow its internal fluids to settle
and avoid damaging the product.
2. the fridge freezer should be slightly higher at the front than the back, so unscrew the levelling feet at the front of the fridge freezer base
until the doors are able to close without assistance. this helps prevent temperature increases, and applies to both our two-door and our
one-door models. the unit should tilt backwards by a minimum of approximately 3.5°. then attach the hinge cover included with this
product.
3. plug the fridge freezer in at the voltage indicated on the rating plate (located at the back of the product – either 115 or 220 volts). also
make sure that the green wire is connected to the fixing screw on the wall outlet. (this earth ground connection only applies to some
models.)
earth ground connection: This is the system for grounding electric
be caused by transient or dangerous currents. (make sure that your home has this system; if not, contact a reputable
electrician.)
4. in the case of electricity flow fluctuations, we recommend using an 800 – 1000 watt voltage regulator to prevent damage being
caused to the product. if the voltage variation is above 10% The warranty will not apply.
5. if you are using an extension cord to connect your fridge freezer, make sure that no cables come into contact with the furniture, and
that the cord meets the characteristics of the fridge freezer's electrical cable (15 amperes).
6. ask a qualified electrician to check the wall outlet and electrical circuit to make sure that the outlet is correctly grounded
7. if you have a two-prong outlet, it is your responsibility and obligation as the consumer to replace it with a three-prong grounded
polarized outlet. applies only to electrical outlets type K
8. turn the temperature control to the highest setting.
9. wait for 2 to 3 hours and then check that the inside of the fridge freezer is cold before putting in food and drink.
10. adjust the temperature control according to your city's climate (see the "how to control the temperature in your fridge freezer"
instructions).
11. vibrations may occur because the contents of your fridge freezer hasn't been loaded or balanced properly. always make sure that the
food and drink inside your appliance is evenly distributed to ensure greater stability and prevent overloading.
12. never connect another device to the same outlet as this could cause voltage fluctuations.
13. important: you must install your fridge freezer in a location where the ambient temperature is no lower than 16°C.
safety warning:
never pull from the cable to unplug this electrical appliance; always hold onto the plug head. do not squeeze, bend, fold or tie up the
electrical cable. do not attempt repairs on the cable; if these components are damaged, they must be replaced by the manufacturer, their
after-sales services or by a qualified professional. use original replacement parts to prevent causing any danger.

how to control the temperature in your fridge freezer – all models
2
1. to switch on the fridge freezer, turn the control dial from the "OFF" or "0" position (on conventional models), or "1" or (on No
Frost and cycle defrost models) up to the required setting.
2. to switch off the fridge freezer, turn the dial to the "OFF" or "0" position (on conventional models), or unplug the fridge
freezer from the electricity supply (for No Frost and cycle defrost models).
3. adjust the temperature in your fridge freezer according to the climate of your city and the table below:
frost
no frost models
1
note:
if you have a "T" class fridge freezer, it is designed for use in ambient temperatures of between 16° and 43°C.
if you have an "N" class fridge freezer, it is designed for use in ambient temperatures of between 16° and 32°C.
if you have an "ST" class fridge freezer, it is designed for use in ambient temperatures of between 16° and 38°C.
if you live in a high-humidity climate, it is normal to find condensation on both the inside and the outside of your fridge freezer.
frost producing models
1. conventional models have a tray underneath
the freezer, which adjusts the temperature in the
refrigerator. to reduce the flow of cold air to the
refrigerator, push this tray back.
2. depending on the climate, air humidity and
how often the door is opened, the freezer door
may accumulate a few drops or ice
formations, and it may become misty inside; this is normal, but it does affect the temperatures inside the fridge freezer (in all models).
3. avoid leaving open containers of liquids in the refrigerator, as this increases condensation and frost formation, which in turn affect keeping
the door closed and the deterioration of some of your product's components. an excess of frost in conventional models can cause damage to
the evaporator door when opening and closing it.
No Frost models
3
higher temperatures may occur if the doors aren't properly closed.
if a large amount of hot food or drink is stored in the refrigerator, or if the air circulation vents are blocked by the food or drink
stored in the fridge freezer.
if after making these adjustments the temperatures are still not correct, check the temperature control instructions given in this manual
before calling a service technician.
the temperatures in the freezer and refrigerator compartments can be regulated in order to adjust them to the requirements of the food
and drink stored within them.
when using a new fridge freezer for the first time, we recommend keeping the temperature controls at their original factory settings (at
the middle setting). Let the appliance run for 4 to 6 hours to allow the temperature to establish itself. If you need to change the
temperature after this time period, you can adjust it using the controls.
air regulator
your fridge freezer has an additional control
that regulates airflow from the freezer to the
refrigerator. its factory setting is calibrated
to provide optimal performance, and as such
we recommend not changing its position.
if you do wish to adjust it, use a ¼-inch flat
screwdriver to turn the groove in the middle
back Side
of the dial. by turning it clockwise, you will
generate lower airflow to the freezer,
11
Note: only manipulate
slowing the freezing process. however, you will notice that by doing this, the refrigerator compartment takes less time to reach the correct
authorized personnel
temperature.
applies for some models
by turning the control anti-clockwise, you will generate more airflow to the freezer, thus accelerating the freezing process, in accordance
with the table below:
regulator position
( IMAGES ARE FOR
REFERENCE ONLY)
freezer temperature
refrigerator temperature
important: changing the air regulator setting will not change the temperature in the refrigerator compartment, but it will change
the time it takes to reach the desired temperature.
note: do not overfill the fridge freezer with food and drink; leave space between items and use the wire shelves provided to put them
on in order to help air circulate around the fridge freezer and prevent poor performance.
freezer compartment
temperature control precautions
refrigerator compartment
1. ambient temperature affects the performance of your fridge freezer. the higher the temperature outside, the lower the selected
electronic card
temperature in the refrigerator should be.
2. we also recommend selecting a lower temperature setting if you frequently open the doors.
3. when placing food and drink inside the fridge freezer, try not to block air outlets so that air can circulate properly and a uniform
temperature can be established inside the compartment. this prevents certain food and drink from freezing.
it is normal for the air vent, gas system, or temperature changes undergone by some of the materials in the appliance to make noises.
4. use the top compartment to keep food and drink frozen and preserved for a longer period of time, and the bottom compartment to keep
them refrigerated.
5. if your refrigerator has an Express Chill Zone, bear in mind that some fresh fruit and vegetables are sensitive to the cold. this
compartment is therefore not suitable for such items.
performance
recommendations for saving energy
avoid opening the doors in the event of a power cut in order to maintain the internal temperature for as long as possible.
do not dry clothes on the back grille of this product.
do not put your fridge freezer near heat sources (ovens, stoves, air conditioning units or in direct sunlight), as heat affects your fridge
freezer's performance, internal temperature and energy consumption.
do not overfill the fridge freezer. leave space between items to help air circulate around the fridge freezer and prevent poor performance.
(see point 3 of the temperature control precautions section)
open the door as little as possible.
make sure that the door is closed properly.
periodically defrost and clean your fridge freezer (see the defrost section) to improve its efficiency and decrease energy consumption. this
will also prevent damage to the freezer door caused by ice blockages.
recommendations for correct use
your fridge freezer may make noises, especially if the doors are open, which are caused by the cooling fluid expanding in the evaporator
and/or the normal functioning of the air vent. the compressor motor can also make noises, but this is no indication of it being faulty.
if you are not using your fridge freezer for a period of more than 15 days, unplug and thoroughly clean it, and leave the doors ajar to
ventilate the appliance so that it does not retain bad odors from the moisture of the food and drink stored in it.
you should wait a minimum of 2 minutes between each time you open the door as our energy-saving seal system can make it more difficult
to do so sooner. models with 2 independent doors, we recommend opening the freezer door first to help you open the refrigerator door more
easily. ( does not apply to cycle )
for models with water dispensers, only fill the
tank with drinking water.
door opening direction
1
for models with ice dispensers on the door, first
move the unit up (A) and then towards you (B)
to remove it.
the wire shelving racks on this product are fixed,
and should only be removed for maintenance or
transportation. before removing them, make sure they are completely empty to prevent damaging the casing.
always use the handles to open and close the appliance and prevent damaging the magnetic seal and other components.
the wire and glass (both tempered and raw glass) shelving racks can only hold a limited amount. avoid overloading them to keep them in
good condition.
5

If the refrigerator has a water dispenser tank, consult the sheet
installation and uses, and will confirm that it is removable for cleaning..
for your safety, and that of your fridge freezer
do not store fizzy drinks in the freezer in hermetically-sealed or glass containers, as they may break and cause an accident.
avoid directly consuming particles of ice that form in the appliance.
do not use knives or sharp, pointed objects to remove ice or food from the freezer walls, as this could cause functional damage.
do not store toxic or flammable products, scientific experiments or medicines with food and drink, as they could contaminate them.
do not try to force the freezer door closed if frost is preventing you from doing so. any damage caused by doing this is not covered by the
guarantee (see point 3 of the "models that produce frost" section.
do not touch the freezer walls with wet hands as this could burn your skin (this does not apply for No Frost models).
some models use plastic bags to protect the interior components during delivery.
make sure not to leave them within reach of children when you remove them to prevent the risk of suffocation.
ice production
1. remove the trays by pulling them towards you. fill them ¾ full of drinking water and place them in the freezer. avoid spilling water or
other liquids in the freezer; if they freeze they become more difficult to remove and they may stick to
other food or drink items.
2. once the ice cubes have formed, remove them from the tray by placing it under running
drinking water for 10 – 15 seconds.
3. gently twist the tray to let the ice cubes fall out.
4. for models with an ice cube extractor, turn the dial to drop the ice into the container below.
note: avoid leaving ice cubes in the ice trays for more than 12 days to make removing them easier.
food and drink preservation recommendations
use the top compartment to keep food and drink frozen and preserved for a longer period of time, and the bottom compartment to keep
them refrigerated.
red meat: to defrost, remove from the freezer and place in the refrigerator, and then leave at room temperature for a short time before
cooking.
fish: first, remove from the freezer and place in the refrigerator, and then cook before it defrosts completely.
vegetables: do not wait for them to defrost; place them immediately in boiling water and cook as usual.
fruit: remove from the freezer and place in the refrigerator. do not re-freeze defrosted food products to prevent the risk of decay.
all food and drink stored in your refrigerator should be wrapped in aluminum foil or cellophane, or placed in a lidded container to maintain
freshness and prevent cross-contamination. keep fruit and vegetables in perforated plastic bags or containers especially designed for the
purpose. this will prevent the moisture released as they dry out from cutting their shelf-life short.
food you are going to freeze shouldn't come into direct contact with food that you are only going to store. you may need to reduce the
amount of food you are freezing if you are considering freezing every day.
if your fridge freezer has been switched off for a prolonged period of time, check the condition of your food, as temperature increases may
reduce the shelf-life of frozen food products.
when defrosting your refrigerator, take the necessary precautions to make sure that frozen food does not defrost, such as wrapping it in
newspaper.
the expiration date of food changes when it is frozen. Take care to ensure that food isn't frozen for excessive amounts of time.

some models have shelves on the doors that can be removed for cleaning:
1. take the shelf in both hands and gently push it upwards.
2. to replace it, reverse the above step, making sure that both ends enter the shelf supports at the same time.
3. some models include a bottle divider; use this on the shelf to stop bottles from falling over.
fruit and vegetable drawers (image 4-5)
the fruit and vegetable drawers can be removed by pulling them towards you or lifting them up slightly before pulling them. some models
have a divider; use it to create two (2) cavities within the drawer, adjusting their size by moving the separator side to side.
cleaning and maintenance (image 6-7)
1. for cleaning and maintenance, unplug the fridge freezer from the electricity supply.
2. clean the fridge freezer using a soft cloth dipped in a solution of 1 liter of warm water and two spoonfuls of bicarbonate of soda.
never use flammable substances, gasoline, solvents or oils, as their vapors can cause a fire risk. neither should you use detergents, as these
can damage parts such as the magnetic seal.
3. clean the unit thoroughly with a clean cloth. make sure that bthe outside of your fridge freezer is completely dry.
important: never use rough-fiber cloths, metallic objects, or sharp, pointed objects as they can scratch or break the components in your
fridge freezer. we recommend cleaning the back grille every 6 months (on those units that have one).
for No Frost models: clean the evaporation tray once a year with a damp cloth, then dry it. (it is located at the back of the unit.)
