SHORTEN THE HOSE

To remove excess hose, please visit www.sram.com/en/service for Reverb hose
shortening instructions.
RE-ATTACH THE REMOTE

Unthread the hose coupling plug from the hose/housing.
Hold the hose by hand near the hose barb, then turn the remote assembly clockwise to
thread the hose barb into the hose. Thread the hose barb into the hose until it stops
turning and there is no visible gap between the hose and the base of the hose barb.
INSTALL THE REMOTE (DISCRETE CLAMP)

Close the remote clamp around the handlebar. Insert the remote clamp bolt and use a
®
T25 TORX to loosely tighten the bolt to hold the assembly together. Rotate the remote
clamp to the desired position and tighten the clamp bolt to 5-6 N·m (43-52 in-lb).
