Mounting instructions information
The mounting instructions come as part of the Duravit
product and must be read carefully prior to installation.
Target readership and qualifications
The urinal frame may only be installed by a qualified
plumber. The electrical installation should only be carried
out by qualified electricians.

Prior to the installation
The urinal frame is suitable for mounting three different
types of urinals:
• Waterless urinals
• Urinals with an exposed flushing valve
• Urinals with an integrated sensor control system
The water connection of the urinal frame must be modified
for the respective urinal type prior to the installation.
> Check the load-bearing capacity of the wall.
> Please read the pre-installation data sheets. These are
available to download on the Internet at

Observing the water connection dimensions
The water connection can no longer be moved to the
side afterwards.
> Set the water connection according to the ceramic
technical drawing.
> Take the X-dimension from the urinal technical
drawing.

Observing the fixing and connection

> Set the water and waste water
connections and fixings according to the
ceramic technical drawing.

Connecting the water and waste water
The connections for the water and waste water must
be connected to the domestic water installation.
> Observe the local installation regulations and any
country-specific standards at all times.

Power connection (optional)
A power connection is required for urinals with
an integrated sensor control system (Art. no.
005004 00 00).
> Install the power connection according to the urinal
data sheet and then fit the panelling.

Selecting a urinal fixing set
The urinal fixing set supplied is not suitable for all
urinals.
> Observe the fixing instructions for the urinal
ceramic.
