TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

SOLUTION
Close drain valve
Check fittings with soapy water. Tighten or reseal leaking fittings.
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
Clean or replace air filter element.
Decrease amount of air used.
Check air requirement of accessory. If it is higher than CFM and
pressure supplied by compressor, you need a larger compressor.
Most accessories are rated at 25% of actual CFM while running
continuously.
Remove and clean or replace.
Check and replace if necessary.
WARNING
Replace compressor assembly.
Replace compressor assembly.
Replace regulator or internal parts.
If pressure drops too low, adjust regulator while accessory is
used.
Check air requirement of accessory. If it is higher than CFM and
pressure supplied by compressor, you need a larger compressor.
Most accessories are rated at 25% of actual CFM while running

Replace pressure switch
Replace pressure switch
Motor will start automatically when tank pressure drops below
kick-in pressure of pressure tank.
To reset the motor overload toggle turn the pressure switch ON/
OFF lever to the OFF position and unplug the unit from the
power outlet. Allow 10 minutes (minimum) for motor overload
cut-out to cool and reset. Unit can then be plugged in and
re-started.
Make sure power cord is plugged in and the switch is on. Inspect for the
proper size fuse in your circuit box. If the fuse was tripped, reset it and restart
the unit. Disconnect other applications from same circuit and operate
compressor on a dedicated circuit. If repeated tripping occurs, inspect the
check valve or contact customer service or technician.
Remove and clean or replace.
Bleed line by moving pressure switch lever to OFF Position
before restarting. If bleeder valve does not open, replace bleeder
valve.
• Check for proper gauge and extension cord length.
• See chart/label on unit.
