DISPENSING STEAM
The steam function is for heating up milk and frothing milk for cappuccinos, or for reheating hot
drinks.
Press HOT WATER/STEAM button.
Allow the water to heat up. Once the indicator light has turned off, turn the operating dial to
and the steam will be dispensed.
NOTE: The porta filter with a filter sieve should be fitted whilst the steam is being dispensed.
REHEATING BEVERAGES
Press the HOT WATER/STEAM button.
Insert the steam nozzle into the drink to be reheated, then turn the operation dial to position.
When heated to the desired temperature, turn the operation dial to neutral.
Press the HOT WATER/STEAM button when steam is no longer required.
FROTHING MILK
The steam wand and nozzle can easily produce velvety, frothed milk for coffees such as cappuccino
and caffé lattes and other milky drinks such as hot chocolate and chai lattes. Instructions for heating
and frothing milk for drinks can be found below:
1. Place cold milk into a cold stainless steel jug.
2. Press the HOT WATER/STEAM button so STEAM is selected. Allow the water to heat.
3. Purge the steam wand by selecting on the operation dial. Use an oven cloth at this point to guard
yourself from the hot steam.
4. Using an oven cloth/glove, move the steam wand to the side.
5. Place the jug of milk under the steam wand and insert the wand into the milk.

7. Move the jug around in a circular motion, ensuring the steam wand stays under the surface of the
milk. Stop warming when the milk when the thermometer gets to the 50 degree mark.
8. When the milk is frothed to your liking, turn the operation dial to neutral.
9. The milk can then be poured into a drink of your choice.
10. Once the steam wand has cooled, wipe it with a damp cloth to clean away any milk residue and
briefly turn the operating dial to

CLEANING AND CARE
Before cleaning the espresso maker or removing any parts, ensure it has been
disconnected from the mains supply.
The appliances main body should not be immersed in water to avoid the risk ofelectric shock.
Abrasive cleaners should not be used on the appliance.
WATER CONTAINER
Remove the water tank and discard of any remaining water.
Wash the water container.
Check the valve for any dirt or lime scale.
