General information

Hoesch products set the benchmark for quality, comfort and design. To assure optimal function and a long life cycle of your
product please comply with the following instructions. Each delivery is strictly controlled before leaving the factory. Check
the completeness of the delivery before starting installation. Products represented here are subject to technical and visual
modifi cations! All dimensions data is in mm. All connection measures are internal measurements! We are not liable for
defects resulting from non-conventional usage, improper transport or faulty intermediate storage. Our respectively valid
warranty conditions are in force. During mounting protect the surface of shower tray with cover! Do not put glass panes on
rims or corners!
Caution! Check the delivery for transport damage! Later claims will not be accepted! The choice of raw plug and
screws depends upon the wall's material!
Water connections
At installation to potable water supply, service technician or user must connect fi rst a safety device according to
local regulations.
It should be noted that a backfl ow protection device willingly (EN61770) (VDE 0700 Part 600) in water
connection must be provided by the user.
Penetrations through walls must be sealed with permanently elastic joint sealant. The installation must be
rinsed acc. to DIN1988.
The customer must provide a dirt pan in the interior installation.
Hot water supply DN 15/20 supply fl ange Rp ½", recommended fl ow pressure 200-500 kPa, 60-70°C.
Attention: thermal disinfection (short time temperature increase up to 70°C) should be ensured!
Cold water connection DN 15/20 supply fl ange Rp ½", recommended fl ow pressure 200-500 kPa.

A ball shut-off valve R ½" shall be provided for both connections.
Floor drain - connecting pipes DN 50 see point 07.
Wall outfl ow DN 50/40 for steam generator and fragrance dispencer drainage see point 07.
Wall-concealed siphon included in connection set (Art.-no 27775)
Electrical installation
For electrical connection please, provide a separate feed cable see point 02.02 (4m long out of the wall) and a
voltage equalising ground cable 1x4mm², see point 07.
The device must be protected by a separate FI-switch / RCD (30mA), which disconnects all poles of the system
with a contact opening at least 3 mm wide.
The unit must be connected to the power supply system via all the poles power cut-off switch (see point 02.02,
min. 3mm opening width, please pay attention to protection areas).
The device must be connected to the mains electricity supply in accordance with the building regulations using
all-pole disconnecting mains switch.
The device should be connected to electricity only via a fi xed feed cable according to local regulations.
Installation and repair should be performed only by authorized service.
Note:All electrical work must be performed by a qualifi ed electrician in accordance with DIN/EN specifi cations
(DIN VDE 0100-701, etc.), national regulations and local EVU regulations!

01.01 Setting up room for shower tray and shower enclosure

Separate electrical units that produces steam or moisture should not be used inside the cabine.
The cabin is designed for setting up in front of the wall.
The gully must be laid in the indicated area.
Observe ceiling height of the room when installing the steam cabin with platform provided by customer.
Make sure there is a clearance of at least 150mm from the top of the cabin to the ceiling.
The cabin has been designed for installation on masonry walls, in order to ensure a reliable fastening.
The walls must be completely tiled over the cubicle's entire height before the fi tting.
The fl oor at the place of installation must be completely fl at.
When preparing the assembly stand (version D) in the area of steam cabin a slope for water runoff should be
ensured. The right ground level for glass sheeds fi xing and outside the cabin for door opening should also be
guaranteed. For this purpose please use the attached template.
For the assembly of the shower tray (version B and C), a concrete fl oor or a styrofoam carriers can be used.
Please pay attention to the manufacturer's specifi cations. Load capacity of a minimum 250 kg/m should be
guaranteed.
Walls must be vertikal.
For constructional reasons in case of frameless shower enclosures absolute waterproofness is not possible.
