plates C and D and carefully mark the position of all holes.
4. Remove the sound deadening material from around the points on the
vehicle floor where plates C and D are to lie.
5. Drill all marked holes through the vehicle floor to ¢11mm.
6. Put back plates C and D back and attach back plates L and K using four
M10x30 bolts with spring and flat washers and nuts, as shown in the
sketch.
7. Fit four M10x105 bolts at points A and E via the inside of the boot. Place
brackets F and G with spacers (which are placed via the underside) and
attach four M10 nuts with spring washers.
8. Place the cross beam between brackets F and G and fasten it in place
using four M12x35 bolts with flat and spring washers and nuts at points
M and O.
9. Fasten the tow bar to the towing eye using one M12x50 bolt with spacer
washer, strip, spring washer and nut at point P.
10. Tighten all fixings to the specified torque setting.
11. Replace the exhaust in its rearmost mounting and refit the bumper.
12. Place the hitch housing between the ball hitch mounting plates and
fasten this in place using two M10x90 (10,9) bolts with flat washers and
self-locking nuts (10) at points I.
For mounting and detaching of the removable ball hitch please see
the enclosed instructions.
NOTE:
* Should this installation process entail the cutting of the bumper – con-
formation MUST be obtained by the installation engineer of the custo-
mer's acceptance prior to completion. Brink Towing Systems do not
accept responsibility for any matters arising as a result of this miscom-
munication.
* All measurements are in mm!
* The dealer should be consulted for possible necessary adjustment(s)
"of the vehicle".
* Remove the insulating material from the contact area of the fitting
points.
* Consult your dealer for the maximum tolerated pull weight and ball
hitch pressure of your vehicle.
* Do not drill through electrical-, brake- or fuellines.
* Remove (if present) the plastic caps from the spot welding nuts.
* This fitting instruction has to be enclosed in the vehicle documents after
fitting the towbar.
* Brink is not liable for damage caused directly or indirectly by incorrect
assembly, including the use of unsuitable tools, the use of other
assembly methods and means than the ones outlined, and the incor-
rect interpretation of these assembly instructions.

MONTAGEANLEITUNG:
1. Die Bodenmatte vom Kofferraumboden entfernen.
2. Die Stoßstange an den in Fig. 1 angegebenen Punkten lösen. Den
Auspuff aus der letzten Aufhängung herausnehmen.
3. Die Gegenplatten C und D vorübergehend auf die Bodenblech legen.
Die Situation auf der linken Seite wird in Fig. 2 dargestellt. Die Situa-tion
auf der rechten Seite ist seitenverkehrt. Die Gesamtsituation wird in Fig.
3 wiedergegeben. Die Umrisse der Platten C und D abzeichnen und alle
Löcher markieren.
4. Bei den Berührungsflächen der Gegenplatten C und D das schall-
dämpfende Material von der Bodenplatte entfernen.
