General warnings

Read all the instructions and warnings carefully before using
this product. Failure to follow warnings and instructions can
result in severe injury, death, or property damage. Before
installation, check if all accessories are complete and without
damage. If not, contact customer service. Keep these
instructions in a safe place for future reference. Use this
product with its original parts only. vidaXL cannot be held
responsible in the event of damage or injury due to incorrect
use of this product. The information contained in this manual is
believed to be correct at the time of printing. However, vidaXL
reserve the right to change or modify any of the specifications
without notice or obligation to update existing units. Repairs
should only be carried out by a specialist or in the service
centre. Never attempt to repair the product yourself.
2 Symbol clarification
The symbol on the product or its packaging signifies that this
product has to be disposed separately from the ordinary
household wastes. Please dispose the electronic equipment at
the recycling centres to help conserve the environment. For
information about the recycling drop off point, please contact
your local electrical and electronic equipment waste
management authority to dispose the product safely.

3 Warnings and personal safety
This device is not intended for the children or persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities unless they are
under the supervision of an adult responsible for their safety.
DO NOT let the children play with the device.
• Read the instructions carefully before operating this device.
• Do not touch the hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• Do not immerse the cord, plug or any part of this device in
the water or other liquids to avoid electric shock.
• Do not let the children use this device without a close
supervision.
• Unplug the power cord from the main outlet when not in

use and before removing parts for cleaning.
• Do not operate any device with any damaged parts, cord or
plug. Contact an authorised service centre or an
experienced technician for repairs.
• DO NOT use any accessory or attachments with the device;
doing so may cause serious injuries.
• Do not use the device outdoors.
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table, counter
tops or touch hot surfaces.
• Do not place the device on or near a hot gas or electric
burner or in a heated oven.
• Be cautious while moving the device to avoid any accidents.
• Do not use the device for unintended purposes.
• Do not leave the device unattended while in use or when
plugged into the mains outlet.
• Check the inside of heating element compartment for any
foreign objects before switching ON the device.
• The heating element in the centre can get hot. Avoid
contact until the device cools down.
• A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk
entanglement or tripping over the cord.
• Longer detachable power supply cords can be used if
needed with proper precautions to avoid any accidents.
• The marked electrical rating of an extension cord should
match the electrical rating of the device.
• This device has a polarized plug. Plug the device into a
polarized outlet only, to reduce the risk of electrical shock.
• Keep the hands away from the machine when it is ON and
spinning.
Precautions
• Do not immerse the device in the water.
• Do not place or use the device near the water.
• Do not use an abrasive sponge or cloth.
• Do not use a scouring pad on the unit.
• Do not leave the device unattended while in use.
• Do not place anything other than the intended sugar in the
extractor assembly head.
• Unplug the device from the outlet when not in use and
while cleaning.
• Do not put the device in the dishwasher.
• Store the unit out of the reach of children.
4 Assembly instructions
1. After cleaning and drying the bowl, make sure the bowl is in
the locked position. Align the metal tabs on the base unit
with the plastic tabs on the bowl.
