Troubleshooting:

PROBLEM CAUSE
3M™ PPS™ 1. 3M™ PPS™ SUN GUN™ II
SUN GUN™ II Light Battery Pack is not connected
will not turn on. correctly.
2. Bulb is burned out. (Fan
runs when light is turned on.)
3. 3M™ PPS™ SUN GUN™ II
Light is too hot (fan will be
operating).
4. 3M™ PPS™ SUN GUN™ II
Battery Pack has low charge.
5. Triggered too soon after
connecting Battery Pack.
6. 3M™ PPS™ SUN GUN™ II
Battery Pack was dropped.
7. 3M™ PPS™ SUN GUN™ II
Light was dropped.

GUN™ II Light turns Light is too hot.

CORRECTION
1. Disconnect then reconnect the 3M™
PPS™ SUN GUN™ II Battery Pack. Wait
one second before turning on light.
2. Replace the bulb.
3. Let the 3M™ PPS™ SUN GUN™ II
Light cool down. NOTE: You will be able
to turn on the 3M™ PPS™ SUN GUN™
II Light when the fan stops running.
4. Charge the 3M™ PPS™ SUN
GUN™ II Battery Pack.
5. Release trigger and wait one
second before attempting to turn on the
3M™ PPS™ SUN GUN™ II Light.
6. Replace the 3M™ PPS™ SUN
GUN™ II Battery Pack.
7. Return the 3M™ PPS™ SUN
GUN™ II to service center.
1. Allow the 3M™ PPS™ SUN
GUN™ II Light to cool down. Once fan
operation ceases, the unit becomes
operational. NOTE: The 3M™ PPS™
SUN GUN™ II Light has internal
electronics that will shut it off when it
becomes too hot.
2. Charge the 3M™ PPS™ SUN
GUN™ II Battery Pack.
