Battery
The RBRC™ (Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation) seal on the NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride) battery
(Battery Pack) is your indication that 3M has paid in advance the costs to recycle the battery (Battery Pack)
at the end of its useful life. In some areas it is unlawful to place Nickel Metal Hydride batteries in the trash
or municipal solid waste stream. The RBRC program provides an environmentally responsible alternative.
RBRC, in cooperation with 3M and other battery users, has established programs in the United States
to facilitate the collection of used NiMH batteries. Help protect our environment and conserve natural
resources by calling 1-800-822-8837 to find a location to recycle used batteries, or call your local
recycling center to learn where in your area to drop off the used battery.
