3. Installation
DANGER
Only qualifi ed personnel should conduct the installation tasks described in this section of the manual.
1. Unpack the product.
2. Extract the cable protector (Figure 3).
3. Extract the Electrode protector by unscrewing it (Figure 4).
4. Disconnect the cleaning tube (Figure 5).
5. Insert the cable into the housing (Figure 6).
6. The connector and the cleaning tube should exceed the bottom of the housing body (Figure 7).
7. Prepare the sensor (see the sensor's instructions). Screw the sensor in the Electrode protector (Figure 8).
8. Connect the cable to the sensor and the cleaning tube to the tube to tube joint (Figure 9).
9. Screw the Electrode protector in the Housing body (Figure 10).
10. Install the cable protector (Figure 11).
11. Connect a Ø6 mm tube for sensor cleaning tube (Figure 12). Important note: air or water must not exceed 2 bar.
12. Slide the stopper to decide the immersion depth (Figure 13).
13. Install the housing at the working place:
- By gravity in a clamp or through the perforated lid of a tank.
- In a DN-63 3 piece adapter with 50 mm interior Ø.
Important notes:
- Before installing the housing ensure that chemical and thermal resistance of the probe are right for the process.
- Never install the housing without the corresponding sensor. If the cable connector and the electrode are "fl ooded" they will
be damaged and must be replaced.
