Requirements on the location
Caution
As the tyre pressure controller is not
explosion-proof, it must not be set up
in a hazardous location.
The underground of the stand has to
be absolutely plain. Any unevenness
shall have to be removed by suitable
measures prior to the erection of the
device. All air and mains lines have to
be passed into the housing from the
bottom or the rear if a floor stand is
used. In case of a wall-mounted de-
vice, the air and mains lines have to be
passed into the device from the bottom
or the rear.

Installation
• For trouble free operation an electric con-
nection to a distributor should be chosen.
A master switch is to be fitted at a suitable
location between the distribution point
and the plant.
• The tyre pressure controller has been de-
signed for the operation inside or outside
of buildings.
• The floor stand must not be mounted on
paving stones and promenade tiles ! A
foundation or a cast socket is imperatively
required for the erection. The surface of
the foundation / socle has to be flat and
horizontal in order to avoid any tensions in
the device. Any unevenness shall have to
be removed by suitable measures prior to
the erection of the device.
• The floor stand is attached to the ground
by means of the four 10x60 screws, was-
hers and heavy-duty dowels (cf. Fig. 4) en-
closed or is screwed down to the founda-
tion frame (optional accessory) by means
a M10 screw connection. After installation
the screws 1 to 6 have to be tightened. The
wall-mounted device and the hose holders
have to be attached to the wall by means
of the three M8x80 screws and dowels
enclosed (cf. Figs. 1 and 2).
• The use of a compressed-air filter with
an automatic condensation water drain
is urgently recommended. This unit shall
be installed in a frost-free area. The com-
pressed air line shall be laid ascending by
1 % to the compressed-air filter from the
compressed-air vessel or the next water
separator. The filter insert has to be clea-
ned in regular intervals.
