1 Operating Elements

1.1 Fig. 1: Hand-held microphone
1 Microphone cartridge; to insert batteries, unscrew
the cartridge (figs. 2 to 4)
2 LC display; shows the transmission channel and
the charging status of the batteries during operation

sensitivity adjusting mode) and to activate the lock
function (in the lock mode)
2 Important Notes
The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it
against dripping water and splash water, high air
humidity, and heat (admissible ambient temperature
range 0 – 40 °C).
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, by no means
chemicals or water.
No guarantee claims for the unit and no liability for
any resulting personal damage or material damage
will be accepted if the unit is used for other purposes
than originally intended, if it is not correctly operated
or not repaired in an expert way.
If the unit is to be put out of operation defini-
tively, take it to a local recycling plant for a
disposal which is not harmful to the environ-
ment.
Do not put exhausted batteries/defective rechargea-
ble batteries into the household rubbish but take
them to a special waste disposal (e. g. collective con-
tainer at your retailer).
3 Applications
In combination with the 2-channel multifrequency re-
ceiver TXS-890 from "img Stage Line" this dynamic
hand-held microphone with integrated multifrequency
transmitter makes up a wireless audio trans-
mission system. Within the UHF frequency range of
790 – 814 MHz, the transmission channel can be
selected among 16 channels as desired.
The microphone is supplied with a microphone
case, a microphone holder, and 7 push-on caps of dif-
ferent colours.
3.1 Conformity and Approval of the wireless
microphone
Herewith, MONACOR INTERNATIONAL declare that
the unit TXS-890HT is in accordance with the basic re-
quirements and the other relevant regulations of the
directive 1995/5/EC. The declaration of conformity
can be found in the Internet via the MONACOR
INTERNATIONAL home page (www.imgstageline.com).

4 Power supply

Insert only batteries of the same type and always
replace all batteries.
If the unit is not used for a longer period (e. g. more
than a week), remove the batteries. Thus, the unit
will not be damaged in case of battery leakage.
1) Unscrew the microphone cartridge (1).
2) To unlock the battery holder (7), press the lock (6)
in arrow direction backwards.
3) Remove the battery holder up to the stop (fig. 4)
and insert two 1.5 V batteries of size AA (R6) with
the positive and negative connections as indicated
in the holder.
