Switching On/Off in chiselling mode:

Switching on: Press the upper part of the
On/Off switch 5 until it locks
on (I).
Switching off: Press the bottom part (0) of the
On/Off switch 5 and release.
At low temperatures it is possible that the
machine only reaches its full hammering or
impact rate after a certain period of time.
Changing the Speed/
Impact Rate
The electronic control enables continuous pre-se-
lection of speed and impact rate in accordance
with the material to be worked. Adjustment is car-
ried out with the speed selector thumbwheel 6.
The constant electronic control keeps the pre-se-
lected speed and impact rate nearly constant be-
tween no-load and load conditions.
The speed must be selected in accordance with
the material.
When inserting the mains plug into the outlet or
after a power failure, the electronic control auto-
matically adjusts to the maximum speed and im-
pact rate. This avoids operation below optimum
capacity, due to a low pre-setting of the speed se-
lector thumbwheel 6.
The values in the table are recommendations.
Depending on application, the electronic control
should be adjusted with the speed selector
thumbwheel 6.

Overload Clutch

If the drill bit jams or edges, the drive to the
drill spindle is interrupted.
Due to the arising forces always hold the
machine firmly with both hands and
provide for a secure stance.
If the drilling tool jams, switch the machine off and
loosen the drilling tool. When switching the ma-
chine on with the drilling tool jammed, high reac-
tion torques can occur!
Mode Selector Switch
Operate the mode selector switch 3 only
when the machine is at a standstill.
Set the mode selector switch 3 to the required
position.
Hammer drilling
Changing the chiselling position
(Vario-lock)
Chiselling (rotation off)
Booster
In the "Chiselling" position, the selected impact
rate is automatically increased when the machine
is switched on. In this mode, the machine oper-
ates with increased performance during chisel-
ling.
