Product Overview
Since water can flow out of the discharge pipe of the
pressure relief device, the discharge pipe must be
uncovered.
Whatever type of installation, it must include a shutoff
valve on the cold water supply upstream of the safety
unit (see diagram on previous page).
The discharge line of the safety unit must be connected
to the sewage allowing free discharge, via a siphon. It
must be installed in a freezing-free environment.
The installation should include a pressure reducing
device if the supply pressure is above 5 bar (0.5 MPa).
The pressure reducing valve must be installed at the
beginning of the general distribution (upstream of the
safety unit). A pressure of 3 to 4 bar (0.3 to 0.4 MPa) is
recommended.

Hot Water Connection

French regulations require hot water maximum temperature of 50° C at the faucets in the bathrooms.
In the other rooms, the temperature of the hot water is limited to 60° C at the faucets.
If using synthetic material pipes (ex.: XLPE, multilayer...), the installation of a thermostatic regulator
on the water heater output line is required. It will be set according to the performance of the material
used.
Make sure to not to tighten the dielectric fitting more than necessary when installing the product.
