Terms
The water heater must be installed by an authorized individual in compliance with the rules of operation, standards
and requirements of our technical services.
It will comply with normal operation and will undergo normal maintenance by a specialist.
Under these terms, our warranty coverage will apply by exchanging or providing free parts found defective to our
Distributor or Installer, or if applicable, exchanging the unit, excluding labor costs, transportation fees, and any
extended warranty compensation.
Our warranty is effective from the date of installation (based on the installation invoice), in the absence of proof, the
effective start date will be the manufacturing date indicated on the label of the heater plus six month.
The coverage of the new spare part or the water heater (under warranty) terminates at the same date as the initial
coverage of the replaced part or water heater.
The manufacturer will not be liable for any costs or damage due to faulty installation (for example,
freezing, safety unit not connected to the sewage, no drain pan) or due to an inaccessible location.
The terms of the present warranty do not prevent the buyer from benefiting from the advantages of the legal
guarantee, guarantee for hidden faults and defects that apply in any case under Article 1641 et seq. of the Civil
Code.
The defect of a component shall not justify the replacement of the device.
Thus the replacement of the defective part is required.
Spare parts supply required for the operation of our products is available for a period of 7 years from their
manufacturing date.
For areas with hard water, using a water softener does not affect the coverage by our warranty provided that the
water softener is set in compliance with the rules of operation, regularly checked and maintained (water hardness
must remain above 15°f).
National standards or installation practices shall not take precedence over the basic rules of safety identified as
IMPORTANT in this manual.
COVERAGE :
Water heater (tank, heater): 5 years.
Electrical parts and removable equipment: 2 years
END OF LIFE:
•
Before disassembly of the device, turn power off and proceed to flushing.
•
The combustion of certain components may release toxic gases, do not incinerate the
device.
•
At the end of its life, the device shall be brought to a recycling center for electrical and
electronic devices specialized in fluid recovery. For more information on existing waste
collection centers, contact the local collection service.
•
Do not eliminate your device in household waste, bring it to a collection point for this
purpose where it can be recycled.
