1. Battery Charging
Only use the charger supplied in the delivery package. This is the only charger suited to the Li ion battery used in your screwdriver.
Note: The battery
is partially charged when delivered. Fully charge the battery
battery
is protected against complete discharge during use. The speedE is switched off by a protection circuit if the battery
and the speedE can now only be used as a normal screwdriver.
2. Fitting/replacing the battery
Open the end cap
by twisting in an anti-clockwise direction. To change the battery, remove the empty battery
the screwdriver handle
. Ensure the battery
Note: If the light
flashes, it indicates that the speedE battery is low (<20%). The electric assisted screw-driving will still work when the charge level is at 20%. If the charge level
continues to fall, only the light
will work to indicate that the battery
3. Insert slimVario bit
Insert the Wiha slimVario bit
correctly into the speedE's bit chuck
4. slimVario bit change
Pull out the Wiha slimVario bit
to remove. Since the bit
Note: Use the VDE-tested Wiha slimVario bit system with a 6 mm chuck.
Noise/Vibration Information
Sound emission values determined according to EN 62841. Typically the A-weighted sound pressure level of the product is 70 dB(A). Uncertainty K=3 dB.
The noise level when working can exceed 80 dB(A). Wear hearing protection! Vibration total values ah (triax vector sum) and uncertainty K determined according to EN 62841. Drilling into
metal: ah<2.5 m/s², K =1.5 m/s² Screwdriving without impact: ah<2.5 m/s², K =1.5 m/s². The vibration level given in this information sheet has been
measured in accordance with a standardised test given in EN 62841 and may be used to compare one tool with another. It may be used for a preliminary assessment of exposure. The
declared vibration emission level represents the main applications of the tool. However if the tool is used for different applications, with different accessories or insertion tools or is poorly
maintained, the vibration emission may differ. This may significantly increase the exposure level over the total working period.
An estimation of the level of exposure to vibration should also take into account the times when the tool is switched off or when it is running but not actually doing the job. This may
significantly reduce the exposure level over the total working period. Identify additional safety measures to protect the operator from the effects of vibration such as: maintain the tool and
the accessories, keep the hands warm, organisation of work patterns.
