Activate the registered maps.
Follow the on-screen instructions and complete the activation.
– Select "No" on the "Multiple Keys" screen.

– Select "Activate" on the "Activate Region" screen.
– Select "Activate" on the "Confi rm Activation" screen.
If activation is successful, the map colour changes according to the key, shown by "Map on
current CD" and "Map on CD and registered."

Transfer the maps to the unit.
By clicking the areas on the map screen, select the activated maps to transfer to the
unit.
Select "Add to NVX-P1" in the bottom right of the screen.
Note
During installation, do not:
− disconnect the USB cable.
− turn off the unit, or reset it.
− shut down the computer, or restart it.
Notes on Map Product Key
• The Map Product Key is required to use the supplied disc.
• The Map Product Key can be found in the enclosed "About the Map Product Key." Be
sure to retain it carefully.
• The Map Product Key and the supplied disc can be used only for one NVX-P1.
• When you enter the Map Product Key, be sure to use capital letters and numbers, and
to not confuse the following numbers and letters.

Installieren von Landkarten auf dem Gerät
Mit NVX-P1 Desktop können Sie neue Landkarten auf dem Gerät installieren.
Wenn NVX-P1 Desktop noch nicht auf Ihrem Computer installiert ist, installieren Sie das
Programm von der mit dem NVX-P1 gelieferten Disc. Einzelheiten zur Installation fi nden Sie
in der mit dem NVX-P1 gelieferten Anleitung.
Vergewissern Sie sich zuvor, dass der Computer über eine Internet-Verbindung verfügt.
Hinweise
• Alte Landkarten können nicht zusammen mit den neuen Landkarten verwendet
werden.
Sie müssen vor dem Installieren der neuen Landkarten zuerst die alten Landkarten
löschen.
• Es kann etwa 4 Stunden dauern, bis alle Landkarten ausgetauscht sind (je nach
Leistung des Computers).

Schalten Sie das Gerät ein und schließen Sie es über das USB-
Kabel an den Computer an.

Rufen Sie NVX-P1 Desktop auf und legen Sie die mitgelieferte Disc
in den Computer ein.
Wenn die Gerätesoftware noch nicht aktualisiert ist, erscheint beim Aufrufen von NVX-
P1 Desktop der Aktualisierungsassistent. Gehen Sie nach den Anweisungen auf dem
Bildschirm vor und aktualisieren Sie die Gerätesoftware.
