INSTALLATION
Safety instructions important for the installation.
Warning: a wrong or bad installation can cause
damages and injuries. Follow carefully all the
instructions.
Following the below topics for the right installation of
the operator HARD:
• Be sure that leaves move in a horizontal way (levelled)
during the all operation.
• Fix the brackets "P" on the columns and track the way
"A" (that must be levelled) according to the maximum
opening of the leaf following the schema (pic. 3).
• Take the measurements of the holes on the columns
paying attention to keep levelled the brackets during
the measurements.
• Drill and fix levelled the wall-bracket "PP" with the
bracket "P" to the columns, using suitable and proper
screws and nuts (pic. 4)
• Insert lids "D" in the proper holes opening with a
pincer the holes "F1" situated in front of the shaft exit.
Open the internal hole "F3" as well, to be used as way
for the wires (pic. 4).
• Fix the operators on bracket "P" using the screws
"V1", paying attention that all electronic components
and devices (terminals, capacitors) are turned with
their face up and the limit switches "FC" turned to the
leaves (pic. 5).
• Assembling the releasing handle "MS" on the pin
"PM" and fix the screw "VS"(pic. 6)
• Fix the handle pin "PM" as illustrated on pic. 7 and 8
using a pincer in order to fix the rings. Fix the eccentric
wheel "E" using a 2,5mm allen key paying attention
that the handle must be turned towards down when the
operator is working in automatic. If not, adjust the
eccentric wheel "E" that control the releasing system.
• Assembling the arms. Left arm as illustrated on pic. 9
meanwhile for the right arm, turn 180° the levers "L2".
WARNING
• DO NOT fix " too much the assembling screws "V2-V3
(pic. 9) for keeping a fluent movement of the arms.
• Fix the arms on the exit shaft "C" using the screws
"V4" and side grub screws "Gr" (pic.10).
• Releasing the operator as explained on the paragraph
"emergency and manual manoeuvre"
• With the leaves in closing position, extend the arms as
illustrated on pic. 11 and fix the bracket "L3" to the leaf
using suitable screws or with proper welding.
• Make a manual opening and closing in order to check
whether arms are moving fluently without any
problem.
LIMIT SWITCHES ADJUSTING
• • Releasing the operator as explained on the
paragraph "emergency and manual manoeuvre" and
close the gate (leaves).
• Turn the lower cam "Cc" until it touches the switch
and fix it (pic.12).
• Open now the gate (leaves) and adjust the switch of
the upper cam "CA" in order to stop the motor at right
position (pic.12).
• Make the electronic connections as explained on the
control panel manual and install all the safety devices
as requested from the actual norms.
• Open and close the gate manually in order to check
the movement of the arms and the correct position of
the limit switches.
• Fix the protection cover "E" using the screws "V5"
(pic.13).
• Teach professional people to operate on safety
devices, controls, releasing system and dangerousness
of the system.
• Fill the technical manual and follow all the actual
norms and standards.
EMERGENCY OR MANUAL MANOEUVRE
• This manoeuvre has to be made only in case of power
failure or when the operator or the system don't work
properly.
• CUT THE MAIN POWER SUPPLY
• Drop the lock lid and with the releasing key "CH" (pic.
14) open the upper door "T" of the cover.
• Turn the handle "MS" clockwise for the left operator
and anticlockwise for the right operator until the arms
are released and the gate can be opened manually
(pic.15).
• To operate automatically again, put the handle "MS"
at the initial position. Move the leaves until they reach
the transmission on the gears and close the door "T" .
• Keep the key "CH" in a safe place known only form
people intended to for the use of the automation.
• Turn on the main power supply paying attention that
people are out of the area in which the gate moves.
