USING THE HYDROBLA-
STER
STARTING THE HYDRO-
BLASTER
Open the water tap (Fig. 4A).
1) Place the petrol tap lever
in the ON (open) position
(Fig.7A).
2) Place the starting lever in
the starter position (Fig. 7B)
(only if the engine is cold).
3) Place the switch at the back of the engine in the "I" posi-
tion.
4) Start the engine by pulling the starter cable.
5) When the engine is running, return the starter lever (Fig. 7B)
to the original position.
!
Important
If there is little or no oil, the engine will not start.
!
Important
The high pressure water jet generates recoil on the lance.
Stand in a stable position and hold the lance handgrip firmly.
6) Press the handgrip trigger and start washing.
!
Danger
Do not block the handgrip trigger in the delivery position.
!
Important
Always check the tightness of the water supply hose and high
pressure hose couplings.
7) Adjust the flow of inert media using the tap at the base of
the hopper according to the type of cleaning to be performed.
(Fig. 6).
INFORMATION!
To eliminate impurities or air
bubbles from the hydraulic
circuit, start up the hydro-
blaster for the first time
without the lance and allow
the water to flow out for a
few seconds.
Impurities could block the
nozzle and prevent it from
operating (Fig. 8).
English
USING THE ACCESSORIES.
The hydroblaster is supplied with a flat jet blast head to clean
large surfaces with a mixture of high-pressure water and inert
media.
!
Important
Aim the jet from a certain distance to avoid damage caused by
the high pressure.
LANCE WITH WATER NOZZLE (Optional Accessory)
The hydroblaster may be fitted with a flat jet lance for traditional
high-pressure washing.
FIG. 7
!
Danger:
Aim the jet from a certain distance to avoid damage caused by
the high pressure.
Do not aim the jet at people, animals or electrical sockets.
Please note: when the lever on the handgrip is released, the
engine automatically reduces the number of revs, when it is
pressed again, the engine returns to normal operation.
STOPPING THE HYDROBLASTER.
1) Place the switch at the back of the engine in the "0" posi-
tion.
2) Place the petrol tap lever in the OFF (closed) position (Fig.
7A)
3) Close the water tap (Fig. 4A).
!
Important
4) Release the pressure in the H.P. circuit by pressing the gun
trigger.
!
Important
If you leave the hydroblaster
unattended even briefly, turn
it off.
!
Important
When the hydroblaster is not
in use, close the safety device
on the handgrip (Fig. 9).
!
Important
Operating the hydroblaster
without water seriously dama-
ges the pump gaskets.
