Application/Use
The additional bench can be attached to the side or rear of the metabo universal construction circular saw benches (models BKH
and BKS). When attached to the side the bench extension enlarges the supporting surface when cutting plates and boards or cutting
perpendicular to-the-grain through longer work pieces. When attached to the rear the bench extension serves to enlarge the
supporting surface when cutting longitudinally (separating).

Side attachment
Perpendicular-to-the-grain cuts may only be carried out on beams and strips of timber, battens, ledges, boards and other similar work
pieces using a perpendicular-to-the-grain cutting tool (cross cutting gauge or slide). Long work pieces which on the grounds of their
length and weight could fall from the work bench after having been cut through, must be supported by a second person despite the
additional bench.
Rear attachment
When the additional bench is attached to the rear of the work bench the work piece must not be longer than 3500 mm. If longer work
pieces are to be cut through they must be supported by a second person.
Assembly
Screw the enclosed holders to the side
and rear of the work bench.
Adjusting the scale
Set the saw blade scales by moving the scale profile on the additional bench.
Unfold the legs of the additional bench
and insert the bench into the holders.
Move the additional bench until it is flush
with the work bench and clamp from below
by means of the star grips.

Care and maintenance

For optimum movement and function of the leg joints and the star grip screw threads
add a few drops of oil.
Make sure the two benches are level
(adjust by lengtehning/shortening the
legs).
