BEFORE THE FIRST USE

• Before the first use, please remove any sticker
or protective cover.
• Place your steam generator on a stable,
horizontal heat-resistant surface.
• For the first use, use the iron on an old piece of
fabric to ensure the soleplate and water tank
are completely clean.
• Never use the steam generator when water
tank is empty, refill it before use it again.
Fill the water tank
• Before filling the water tank, check if the steam
generator is cooled down, if the power cable is
unplugged and if the temperature knob is on
its minimum position.
• Note: never unscrew the boiler cap before
these three steps are done.
• During filling please do not exceed the
maximum water capacity (0.5L).
• Note: use a funnel to fill the boiler.
• Please read carefully our advices in chapter
"type of water to use" concerning the water to
use with your steam generator.
• Open the boiler filter cap and fill the boiler with
water.
• Screw the boiler filter cap tight.
• Notes: if the water tank indicator illuminates
and there is no steam the water tank is empty.
• Never unscrew the boiler cap when the
appliance is still connected to the power
supply.
Select the temperature
• Place the iron on its base.
• Select the desired temperature by using the
thermostat knob, check the ironing symbols
on your clothes in order to adapt the ironing
temperature.
• Note: we advise you to read the chapter
"Ironing of your linens" in order to select the
best ironing temperature.
