A. MOUNT THE CORNEAL TISSUE ON THE ARTIFICIAL CHAMBER

Fill the syringe coming
from ACP tubing set with
saline salt solution or
corneal storage medium.

Connect the syringe to the
stopcock of ACP tubing set.

Make sure stopcock is
open to the syringe and
artificial chamber, while
being closed to ACP
system.

Press the syringe to infuse
the artificial chamber.

Mount the corneal tissue
on the artificial chamber.
B. ACTIVATE PRESSURE

Push on the footswitch
to open the output valve
and to release air in ACP
tubing set.
C. MODES OF USE

pressure display.

Proceed to the operation:
shift stopcock of ACP
tubing set to be open
to both ACP system and
artificial chamber, while
being closed to the
syringe.

Pressure is established in
the artificial chamber and
applied directly from ACP
system.
Corneal tissue is ready for
operation.
Note: In open system, the pressure displayed on ACP system is the same as established in the artificial chamber.

IMPORTANT WARNINGS
Refer to instructions for use of ACP tubing set (#65113).
Check there is no air bubble in the syringe.
Make sure there is no air bubble in the tubing.
Make sure there is no air bubble below the corneal tissue.
IMPORTANT WARNINGS
Visually check that:
• the yellow LED is OFF.
• the green LED is ON.
IMPORTANT WARNINGS
In case pressure display is different from desired value, readjust the
pressure value on the digital display by turning the knob.
Note: ACP system can deviate during a few minutes of ± 15 mmHg. After
warm-up time, ACP system becomes stable.
Visually check that the displayed value is similar to the desired one. If
not, readjust the pressure value on the digital display by turning the
knob.
