AC adapter connector.
Applying the armband
1. Connect the armband to the unit.
2. Open the armband, leaving the "Index" end in ring D.
3.Apply armband to left arm. The "OK" interval mark should be turned towards you, whilst the
rubber tube should be positioned in the same direction as your arm. Place the artery mark
Φ on the main arteries (on the inside of the arm) on the upper part of the arm. Tighten the
armband by pulling the "Index" end.

Inserting batteries

1. Insert or replace 4 "AA" size batteries in the battery com-
partment, according to the diagram shown on the inside.
2. Replace the cover of the battery compartment by plac-
ing the end tabs of the battery cover in the slots on the
top of the battery compartment and pushing down the
other end to secure the battery cover.
Replace the batteries when:
1. The flat battery symbol appears on the display
2. Nothing appears on the display when the
ON/OFF/START button is pressed

This appliance can also be powered by an AC adapter.
The AC adapter should be connected as shown in the
diagram (left).
Note: Batteries are hazardous waste. Do not dispose of
them together with domestic refuse.
