Select / + to select the task in progress. Selecting from a long list of tasks is made
easier by pressing an "alphanumerical" key. The list of tasks is then displayed in alphanumerical
order. Press an alphanumerical key again: a window opens to allow you to enter the first let-
ter(s) of the name of the task you want. Press

The bar code reader is connected to the serial link.
When the cursor is on this field, enter the value or actually read the bar code.
In the measurement screen, when the cursor is on the field "Name of task", the bar code reading
automatically selects the corresponding task.
T / T+A* / A+T* . The display of the measurement changes according to the type (see para-
graph 3).
Because of the change in the type of measurement, all the results previously saved are erased.

The acquisition mode is selected according to the application and the type of tool being
checked:
• Standard mode: the unit measures the instantaneous (track) or maximum (peak) value.
• Hydro mode: designed for reading the torque of pneumatic oil pulse wrenches. Each tool
impulse generates a "peak" in torque measurement. The unit measures the maximum value
being reached; the measurement is taken from the time when the torque rises above the
measurement threshold until the torque has not overstepped the measurement threshold
again for a moment equal to the "auto reset time".
• "Prevailing torque" mode (for the DELTA5000/5D): the measurement of the prevailing
torque consists in measuring the minimum, maximum, and mean values of the torque (for a
given measurement angle interval). The measurement is starts from the angle threshold.
