Dear customer,
We would like to thank you for purchasing this product, one of the high-quality Ubbink BioBalance pond lter series.
This operating instruction contains important information that is useful for installation, start-up and care of your BioPressure pressure lter. Please read the operating instruction
carefully before installing the lter.
The following components are contained in the scope of delivery of the BioPressure:
1 Pressure lter container 10 l (BioPressure 3000) / 18 l (BioPressure 7000)
1 Pressure lter cover with inlet and outlet connections, ball valve for dirt drainage
1 UV-C-Device 5 W (BioPressure 3000) / 9 W (BioPressure 7000), integrated
1 UV-C-Lamp PL-S 5 W (BioPressure 3000) / PL-S 9 W (BioPressure 7000)
1 Locking bracket, two parts with screws
1 Rubber sealing ring
1 Tube of conservation and sealing medium
1 Level lter mat set
1 Protective cover for the pressure lter, removable

Safety:
1. The Ubbink BioPressure lter is not an underwater lter and must be mounted outside the pond so that it cannot fall into the water or be soaked with water.
2. The UV-C device in the BioPressure-Filter is tted with an integrated protective switch which cuts the voltage supply to the device immediately when this is opened. If the
BioPressure-Filter must be opened, the UV-C device must be switched o rst of all. Ultraviolet light can cause damage to your eyes or skin when these are directly irradiated. For
this reason, do not look directly into the switched on UV-C lamp. Control the function of the lter when it is closed through the transparent hose connection.
3. Make sure that the UV-C device is switched o when no water ows through the BioPressure-Filter.
This prevents the UV-C device from a possible overheating.
4. The UV-C device must be connected to a contact protective socket. The respective electrical circuit must be protected with a residual current circuit breaker = 30 mA.
5. The replacement of the mains cable of the UV-C device is not possible. If the mains cable is damaged, the UV-C device must be disposed o .
6. UK: If a permanent installation (direct wiring) of the pump and / or UV-C device is made to the mains, the speci cations of the local energy supply companies must be ful lled. If
you have any questions relating to the wiring connections, an approved electrical engineer must be consulted or contact your local energy supply company.
