■ Prep, prime, and paint the scoop bezel (Item A) and hood (Item F). Follow instructions in the paint section of

Service Manual and the paint manufacturer's specifications. Remove masking from scoop bezel when paint-

ing is completed.

■ Prepare, aplique una capa de imprimación y pinte el reborde de la entrada de aire (Elem. A) y el cofre

(Elem. F). Siga las instrucciones de la sección de pintura del Manual de servicio y las especificaciones del

fabricante de pintura. Retire el adhesivo del reborde de la entrada de aire cuando termine de pintar.

■ Préparer, enduire et peindre l'encadrement de la prise d'air (article A) et le capot (article F). Suivre les

instructions de la section Peinture du manuel d'entretien et les directives du fabricant de peinture. Une fois la

peinture de l'encadrement de prise d'air terminée, retirer le masquage.

Página 2 ■ Raise the hood. Disconnect and isolate the nega- tive battery cable. ■ Disconnect and remove the secondary release handle from the grille frame. ■ Remove (2) bolts that attach the latch striker to the hood. ■ Levante el cofre. Desconecte el cable negativo de la batería y aíslelo.

Página 4 ■ Install painted hood (Item F) to the left and right hood hinges. Tighten the fasteners to 17 ft.-lbs. (23 N·m). ■ Attach hood support cylinders to the upper ball studs. ■ Install underhood lamp base, bulb, then lens to the hood. Route and attach the lamp harness up to the underhood lamp assembly and plug the connector in.
