• Before using for the fi rst time please clean the machine as described under
„Cleaning" below.
• Unwind the mains lead on the base and assemble the machine according to
the depiction of the individual parts.
1. Place the device on a fi rm and fl at surface. Position it such that it cannot tilt
over.
2. Then place the juice container (3) on to the motor block (4) in such a way that
the spout (3) is located in the recess so that it is fl ush. Now put the fi lter sieve
on to the juice container.
3. Insert the plug in a duly installed 230V/50Hz protective contact socket.
4. Place a glass (vessel) under the spout of the juice container. Press the spout
downwards in order to open the outlet aperture.
5. Halve the citrus fruit in the middle. Hold the lemon squeezer with one hand
while pressing the fruit halve on the press cone with the other. The machine
starts turning automatically. Results can be improved by releasing the pressure
and then pressing again. This changes the direction of rotation.
CAUTION: Do not use the device for more than 3 minutes!
6. The juice fl ows into the glass (vessel). Fruit fl esh and pips remain in the fi lter
screen.
Centrifuge function: In order to provide juice from the fl esh of the fruit the
device has a centrifuge function. Put the lid (1) in position and press it down-
wards. The fi lter screen turns faster in one direction.
7. Before removing the glass (vessel) press the spout upwards in order to seal
the outlet of the juice container and prevent dripping.
8. Pull the plug out of the socket after use and clean the device as described
below.
Mains lead take-up
The mains lead can be wound up on the base.
IMPORTANT
The citrus juices should be consumed as soon as possible. Never store such
juices in metal containers.
