fill the tank as described above. For a correct operation,
water should be continuously added to the tank. For
models without a water filling tap, this operation must
be performed by paying attention not to wet the heating
elements while the appliance is working as the thermal
shock might damage the heating elements. The appliance
must never work without water. Pour water up to 5-6
cm in each fat collecting trays, even more times per day,
to facilitate cleaning and improve cooking. Activate the
switch upstream the appliance. To switch the unit on,
rotate the knob corresponding to the selected heating
area and select a position between 1 and 6, the light
signals that the appliance is working.
We recommend that you switch on the grills to the
maximum temperature and, when reached, move the
knob to a lower position.
Each zone is switched off by rotating the knob to "O".
Emptying the tank
The operator must empty the tank by using a suitable

container. Assemble the draining pipe with a bayonet
connection as shown in the figure 6. Open the draining
tap.

CARE OF THE APPLIANCE
Before cleaning, switch off the unit and let it cool down.
In the event of electrically supplied units, use the isolator
switch to disconnect the mains.
Carefully clean the appliance daily to guarantee its proper
operation and long life.
Steel surfaces must be cleaned with a dish washer
detergent diluted in very hot water by using a soft cloth;
for the toughest dirt, use ethylic alcohol, acetone or
another
non-halogenated solvent; do not use abrasive powder
detergents or corrosive substances such as hydrochloric
acid, muriatic or sulfuric acid. The use of acids can
affect the unit's operation and safety. Do not use brushes,
steel wool or abrasive disks made with other metals or
alloys that might cause rust stains due to contamination.
ATTENTION!
Never clean the appliance with jets of water.
