Connection of receiver & transmitter to radio
link
Each time the receiver is switched on it must log on to
the transmitter:
1. Plug each of the connectors of the temperature
sensors into one socket of the transmitter. The two
temperature sensors are of identical design and can
be used for both sockets.
2. Switch on the receiver.
3. Switch the transmitter on within 120 seconds by
pushing the ON/OFF button on the back of the
transmitter. If the transmitter does not emit a signal
within 10 seconds and no temperature is displayed
in the receiver's LC display, press the CONNECT
button for 2 seconds
4. When both devices are connected to each other, the
transmitter beeps and the temperatures 1 FOOD and
2 B RBECUE are shown in the LC display.
larm when the radio link is disconnected:
If the distance between the two devices is too great or if
other interferences occur, no data can be received and
the radio connection is interrupted. In the case of an
interruption of more than 4 minutes, a warning signal is
emitted at the receiver every 4 seconds. Press any key
on the receiver to switch off the warning signal and
connect the transmitter and receiver manually.
Manual restoration of the radio link:
Place the receiver within the range of the transmitter,
switch it off and turn it back on within 120 seconds.
Press and hold the CONNECT button for 2 seconds. This
button can only be activated manually every 12
seconds. If the connection cannot be established during
the first attempt, wait for this period before pressing the
CONNECT button again.
