NOTE:
If a disc is inserted incorrectly or no disc is inserted, the
letters „READING", and „NO DISC" appear in the display.
Playback of CDs produced by the user cannot be guaran-
teed due to the large variety of software and CD media
available.
Description of the CD buttons
II ENTER/PLAY/PAUSE (14/1)
You can briefl y interrupt and resume playback using this button.
The playing time that has elapsed fl ashes in the display. Pres-
sing again continues playback.
I
SKIP/TUNING
I (SKIP DOWN/UP) (8/3/4)
With an audio CD or a CD in MP3 format playing:
With SKIP/TUNING
I /SKIP UP (8/4) you can jump to the
next or previous track etc. If the button is kept pressed down, the
machine starts to search through the tracks.
The I
SKIP/TUNING/SKIP DOWN button (8/3) can be used
as follows:
Press once =
This starts the current track again from the
beginning.
Press twice =
This jumps back to the previous track.
Press three times = This plays the song before etc. If the button
is kept pressed down, the machine starts to
search through the tracks.
In CD, USB and SD/MMC mode:
Keep I
SKIP/TUNING
pressed down during playback to increase or reduce the elapsed
playing time. If the buttons are kept pressed down in stop mode,
a fast search begins to the desired title or folder. Press the
ENTER/PLAY/PAUSE button to begin playing back the track.
NOTE:
When the music search is activated for MP3, USB or SD/
MMC, the sound is muted.
In radio mode:
To tune the desired radio station.
Number buttons (11)
Enter the number of the desired track with the help of the
number buttons on the remote control. After a short time this
track begins to play back.

The CD stops.

MUTE (9 on the remote control)
Used for switching off the sound immediately. The word „MUTE"
fl ashes in the display (13). To cancel this function, press the
MUTE key again.
MONO/ST (17 on the remote control)
To change between STEREO and MONO.
INTRO (18 on the remote control)
Use the FUNCTION button (6/8) to change to CD or USB mode.
Press the INTRO button (INTRO appears in the display). Each
track on the CD is played for 10 seconds. Press this button again
to stop searching. The currently selected track is played.
MENU/SELECT button (19/19)
There are various modes available, which are displayed after
each press of the button:
CLOCK:
see section „Setting the Time".
see section „Alarm Function".
TIMER:
EQ:
see item „EQ".
BASS:
see item „BASS".
see item „ID3".
ID3:
EQ (16 on the remote control)
(Preset equalizer function). Various sound modes are available
(CLASSIC, POP, FLAT, ROCK, JAZZ). ((EQ)) appears in the
display except in the case of FLAT.
Press the button (19/19) until EQ appears. Confi rm your entry
with the
II ENTER/PLAY/PAUSE button (14/1). Press the
MENU/SELECT button and select a mode. Confi rm with the
button (14/1). EQ appears in the display.
BASS (20 on the remote control)
To increase or decrease the bass output.
BASS ON = on (BASS in the display),
BASS OFF = off.
Press the button (19/19) until BASS appears. Confi rm your entry
with the
II ENTER/PLAY/PAUSE button (14/1), BASS ON
appears in the display. If the MENU/SELECT button is pressed,
BASS OFF appears; confi rm your selection with the button
(14/1).
ID3
If it has been burned on the MP3 CD, the ID3-Tag information
is shown in the display as a moving image. You can switch the
ID3 tag information on and off. Follow the steps as described
under "BASS".
REPEAT/PRE-UP (16/5)
Press once:
(the
emits a fi xed light). The current
track is repeated continuously.
