    When making maintenance in the machine: 1- Machine must be turned off for any type of maintenance; 2- Observe the rights types and amounts of the recommended lubricants to lubricate the different components. Transport on roads and streets Do not transport the machine with the tractor on roads and streets. Such practice must be limited to inside the farm properties and rural zones.

    Whenever the terms “rigth” and “left” are used, it is considered the tractor’s operating cab as reference point. The Grass Head JF 1300 S2 was developed to harvest and collect grass. While the machine goes, the grass passes thought the protective cover (1), and is cut by the cutting discs (2), and immediately to the rolls of the harvester forage harvesters (3).

    4 - Preparation of the machine 4.1 - Coupling - pulleys and belts version The machine must be turned off when you are going to couple the JF 1300 S2 with the forage harvester. a) Remove the rotor puley 5 channels - (Figure 1) and place the pulley 8 channel (Figure 2).

    4.2 - Coupling - cardan shaft version The machine must be turned off when you are going to couple the JF 1300 S2 with the Forage Harvester. a) Take off the alligners of the Forage Harvester, and install the pins 1 and 2 in harvester platform as (Figure 1).

    5 - Adjustments to start operating 5.1 - PTO speed PTO Rotation During operation, the PTO speed must be constant at 540 rpm. Check the forage harvester operational manual for more information. 5.2 - Harvest ground speed Tractor correct moving speed is one of the factors that directly influences the machine production and the triturated fodder quality.

After you have defined the motor rotation, select the gear that provides proper speed to the harvest, following this rule: 1- For bulky crops, taller and/or for thin triturated fodder, you should use low speeds.

  • Página 28 Note: Pay attention to the proper mounting of cardan parts. The locking eyes (5) of the tube universal joint cross and the rod must point the same direction as shown below. Attention: 1- The non compliance with minimum requirements of the cardan (see illustration) may result in its own rupture and the launching of parts in undetermined directions.
