Drilling (Pionjär 120/120 AV)

Function selector

Drilling
1.
Turn the function selector downwards. This
engages rotation and flushing air for drilling.
2.
During drilling, make sure that the flushing hole
through the drill steel does not become blocked.
Breaking
To adjust the direction of the tool blade and lock
the rotation:
1.
Put the function selector into the neutral position.
2.
Lock the tool in the desired position by turning the
selector upwards.

Collaring

1.
Press the tool against the workpiece with the
machine idling.
2.
Increase the speed of the engine once the bit has
gained a foothold in the material to be drilled.
3.
Grip the side handle to give better control of the
machine.

Drilling deep holes

1.
Drill a hole using a short drill.
2.
Change to a longer drill with a slightly smaller bit
diameter (approx. 1 mm smaller).

Maintenance

Daily maintenance, regular checking of wearing
parts and carrying out repairs in good time
prevents breakdowns and increases the service life
of the machine.

Regular service

Clean the air filter

Clean the air filter regularly, at least once a shift, if
the machine is in continuous use.
1.
Turn the locking spring of the filter housing to the
side, and take out the filter housing and filter.
