14 Warranty Conditions

The warranty period expires after 1 year. It begins on the delivery date shown in the delive-
ry note or the invoice.
Within the warranty period, any functional defects resulting from faulty workmanship or
materials will be rectified free of charge. Repairs do not alter the warranty period.
Further claims, in particular those laid to consequential damage, will not be accepted.
Warranty becomes null and void:
– in case of improper usage of the unit, noncompliance with operating conditions or
nonobservance of instructions;
– in case of operation in rooms where air is caustic, acid or oily;
– in case of damage caused by contaminated or jammed air filters;
– if a non-authorised person interrupts the cooling circulation, modifies the unit or chan-
ges the serial number;
– in case of damage caused by transport or by accidents;
– if parts are replaced by non-genuine parts.
The cooling unit has been thoroughly checked and properly set in the factory. If you should
nevertheless have grounds for complaint, please return the cooling unit to our address.
In order to maintain your rights under the provisions of this warranty, please observe the
following instructions:
• Enclose an exact description of the fault in the shipping package.
• Enclose proof of delivery (delivery note or copy of invoice).
• Return the unit together with all accessories; use the original packaging or packaging
of equivalent quality, send the unit freight prepaid and covered by an adequate trans-
port insurance. Observe the hints on transport mentioned in section 2.
