ROUTINE MAINTENANCE

• It is imperative that all the operations on the machine be executed by qualified and
authorized personnel acquainted with its operating modes.
• Never execute any cleaning, lubrication or maintenance operation while the machine is
on.
• Before any maintenance operation , disconnect the electric plug, then proceed with the
maintenance operation.
• Grease moving parts once every 6 months, type of grease recommended KLUBER
STABURAGS NBV 30 or equivalent (viscosity of standard oil DIN 51561 mm2/s approx. at
40°C 500 – to 100°C 31).
• Check the oil level regulary and top up if necessary with AGIP HYDROIL GF (ISO46) or
equivalent (viscosity, at 40°C 46 mm2/s) oil through the filler cap placed on top of the
machine.
• Change the oil in the central unit, clean or substitute the filters every 3000 working hours.
• Preventively check the state of the connections, the integrity of the tubes to avoid oil
leaks or other anomalies, by executing some idle manoeuvres
• Verify daily the wear and tear and the readability of the warning signs.
• Promptly eliminate dust and water deposits, or dirt that could alter the proper functioning
and the life of the equipment.
• In case of pump malfunction (also detectable by the noise) disassemble it and substitute
it with a new one. It is recommended to entrust the manufacturer with the repair job.
• Replace the fitted hoses after about six years
• Regularly check correct operation of the indicator light (item 1, figure 1), which indicates
that the swaging diameter has been reached, by pressing the check-up button (item 3,
figure 1). If necessary, replace the battery (item 2, figure 1) after opening the relevant
battery housing.
• Regularly check the proper tightening of the guide screws and nuts.
• Regularly check the proper tightening of the screws.
PRELIMINARY CHECKS AND START-UP
• Place the machine on a flat surface in a convenient position for the operator.
• Connect the machine to the electric feed.
• Make sure that the oil level is satisfactory.
• Make sure that the parts subjected to friction are clean and greased once every 6
months.-(recommended oil KLUBER STABURAGS NBV30).
• Check that the tank cap is closed
• Make a test of the piston advancement and return to ascertain that everything works
without problems.
• Press the check-up button (item 3, figure 1) to make sure the indicator light (item 1,
figure 1) , which indicates that the swaging diameter has been reached, is working
properly.
• The motor doesn't work when the switch is connected :
1. Check whether the wall switch corresponds to the machine's switch poles.
2. Check whether the fuse of the wall switch is burnt.
