HANDLING/TRANSPORT

Thanks to its light weight, the machine can easily be carried by one person only.
However, it is important to adhere to the following instructions:
Always move the machine using the handle provided and not other mechanical parts.
Avoid impacts or abrupt vibrations while lifting and lowering the machine.
If the machine has to be shipped, make sure that it is securely fixed to the means of
transport and protected against impacts and violent vibrations.

LIGHTING

The equipment does not have its own lighting and must therefore be used in suitably
illuminated areas. The machine should never be used if the working area does not
guarantee perfect visibility.

ROUTINE MAINTENANCE

Lubricate moving parts once every 6 months with the recommended grease, i.e.
KLUBER STABURAGS NBV 30 or another equivalent grease (viscosity of standard oil
DIN 51561 mm2/s approx. at 40°C 500 – at 100°C 31).
Check the oil level regularly and top it up if necessary using the cap on the tank.
Recommended viscosity range: 10...200 mm2/sec; the machine is delivered with HLP
10 DIN 51524 oil.
AGIP ACER 15 or an equivalent oil (viscosity, at 40°C 15 mm2/s DIN 51524) can be
used for fittings.
Regularly check that the pump is in good working order and that connections are tight.
Regularly check the operation of the lighted indicator (item 1 in Figure 1), which
confirms that the crimping diameter has been reached, by pressing the Check-up
button (item 3 in Figure 1). If necessary, replace the battery (item 2 in Figure 1) after
opening the battery holder.
Daily inspect the warning signs to make sure they are not worn or damaged.
Regularly verify that all screws are correctly tightened.

PRELIMINARY INSPECTIONS

Place the machine on a stable surface so that it is adequately supported.
Make sure that the oil level is satisfactory.
Make sure that the parts subject to friction are clean and have been lubricated every
six months.
Press the Check-up button (item 3 in Figure 1) to make sure the indicator light (item 1
in Figure 1), which confirms that crimping diameter has been reached, is working
correctly.
Check that the tank cap is turned by 90° to allow air inside the hydraulic
circuit to be released.
