The risk of injuries to hands if, for any reason, you touch the side broom or the central broom, as they are spinning. The
brooms can only be touched when the motor is switched off and with the aid of protective gloves, to avoid poking or
cutting yourself with sharp slivers of debris in the bristles.
The risk of inhaling harmful substances, scratches to hands, when emptying out the container (hopper), without using
protective gloves and mask to protect the respiratory tract.
The risk of not controlling the machine by using it on gradients that exceed those stated in chapter 5 or not leaving it
stopped in a parking position.
The risk of explosion or fire by filling it up with the motor running or with the motor off but not completely cooled down.
The risk of serious burns by carrying out any form of maintenance with the motor running or with the motor off but not
completely cooled down.
Before re-charging the batteries make sure the room is well-ventilated or re-charge the batteries in facilities set up
specifically for this purpose.
Do not smoke, do not approach open flames, do not use emery wheels and welding machines; in any case, do not cause
sparks near the batteries.
Do not draw current from the battery with clamps, plugs and provisional contacts.
Make sure that all connections (wire terminals, plugs, sockets, etc.) are tightened correctly and in good working
conditions.
Do not place metal tools on the battery.
Keep the battery clean and dry, possibly with the use of anti-static cloths.
Top-up with distilled water every time the electrolyte level drops to 5 - 10 mm from the splash-guard.
Avoid charging it too much it and keep the battery temperature below 45°C.
Keep any centralised topping-up systems in perfect working order by performing periodic maintenance.
The risk of electrocution and short circuiting; for safety, before carrying out any maintenance or
repairs on the batteries (or the machine), disconnect the +/- clamps from the battery poles.
The risk of explosion during charging; this may occur if you attempt to use an unsuitable battery charger (based on the
Amperes of the battery).
While charging the battery, or, nevertheless, when the battery charger plug is plugged in, it is forbidden to turn the
machine on and it is forbidden to move it (including manually).

Check the battery solution level and, if necessary, top up with distilled water.

Make sure that the connector Detail 1 Fig. 12/B is plugged into the relative plug.

Make sure that the emergency mushroom button Detail 1 Fig. 12/A is not pressed down.

IMPORTANT: To start up the machine you must be seated in the driver's seat. If the operator is not seated, or if
he/she stands up once the machine has been switched on, it will switch off.
IGNITION:
Turn the key Detail 6 in the control panel (Fig. 11) clockwise.
Engage the lever Fig. 10 to switch the motor on, make the central broom spin and switch on suction.
The machine is in working position when the central broom is lowered and suction is enabled.
