USE
WARNING
OBER belt sanders, whose performance features are indicated in table 1, are designed for trimming and cleaning
where space is limited, or when particular contours have to be followed. To facilitate work in the widest possible range
of conditions, the position of the belt can be varied in relation to the hand-grip.
To ensure the operator's safety:
Mantain the compressed air supply at the pressure recommended in this manual
Switch off and disconnect the tool from the mains compressed air supply before rotating the position of the belt-
tightening device with respect to the handle and before carrying out any replacement of the sand belt
Check that the belt is firmly tightened before switching on the tool
Only use good quality, approved belts of the size indicated in Table 1. Do not use worn belts
Do not wear clothing with loose sleeves. Do not wear scarves, dangling clothing or items of personal jewellery which
might catch in moving parts
Never touch the sand belt when the machine is running
Use the tool as instructed, using both hands. Do not exert excessive pressure with the tool on the work surface.
WEAR EYE PROTECTION AND GLOVES
ATTENTION:
DO NOT POINT THE TOOL AT OTHER PERSONS WHEN IT IS OPERATING.
ALWAYS INTERRUPT THE SUPPLY OF COMPRESSED AIR BEFORE USING THE TOOL
FOR OTHER OPERATIONS RATHER THAN GRINDING
UTILISATION
Les ponceuses à bandes OBER, dont les performance sont indichées dans le tableau 1, ont été spécialement
conçueses pour effectuer des opération de débavage et nettoyage dans les espaces restreints ou pour obtenir un
travail propre sur les contours particuliers.. L'accès dans les espaces restreints est facilité par la possibilité d'orienter la
bande par rapport à la poignée.
Pour la sécurité de l'opérateur nous reccomandons de:
Respecter la pression d'alimentation conseillée dans cette notice
Avant de régler la position du dispositif tendeur de bande par rapport au group poignèe et avant chaque
remplacement de la bande abrasive, s'assurer que l'outil est déconnecté du réseau d'air comprimé
S'assurer que la bande abrasive est bien fixée avant la mise en service
Utiliser exclusivement des bandes abrasives homologuées de bonne qualité et en bon état présentant les
dimensions indiquées dans le tableau 1
Eviter de porter des vêtements ayant de larges manches al des chaussures, chaînes ou bracelets qui pourraient se
prendre dans les parties en mouvement
Ne pas toucher la bande lorsque la machine est en fonction
Utiliser l'outil de manière appropriée, avec le deux mains en évitant toute pression excessive sur les surfaces à
traiter.

INTERROMPEZ TOUJOURS L'ALIMENTATION DE L'AIR COMPRIME AVANT TOUTE INTERVENTION
