To set up the SNAPshot DSR Reader:
1. Position the reader on a flat surface in a well-ventilated area out of direct sunlight.
The SNAPshot DSR Reader should be used in a controlled environmental
temperature of 7–30°C (45–86°F, relative humidity: 10%–80% non-condensing).
See the SNAP kit insert for specific assay temperature requirements.
2. If you are using a printer, plug the printer cable into the printer and then into the
COM 1 port on the back of the SNAPshot DSR Reader.
NOTE: A printer is required for NCIMS testing.
NOTE: If you are using a printer from an existing SNAPshot Reader or a printer that
was not purchased from IDEXX, refer to the "Settings" section of this manual for
instructions.
3. Plug the power supply into the power port on the rear of the SNAPshot DSR Reader
(see figure 2). Plug one end of the line cord into the power supply and the other into
an AC-grounded outlet.
IMPORTANT: Use only the power supply provided with the SNAPshot DSR
Reader.

below the touch screen on the front of the instrument.
