Dorsofix
Intended purpose
protect.Dorsofix is a surgical corset. The
product is exclusively to be used for the
orthotic fitting of the back and only on
unbroken skin.
Indications
• Acute and chronic lumbar and
dorsolumbar pain
• Lumbar radiculopathy
• Slipped discs
• Humpbacks
• Mild spondylolisthesis
• Osteoporosis with vertebral fractures
• Treatment following surgical
intervention to stabilise the spinal
column
Contraindications
None knwon at present.
Instructions
• Put on the corset with the help of the
two loops and secure the front
fastener (Fig. 1).
• Remove the covers from the Velcro
strips attached to the lower elasticised
tabs and secure these to the Velcro
fastener at the front (Fig. 2).
• Remove the cover from the Velcro
strips attached to the upper elasticised
tabs and secure these to the Velcro
fastener at the front (Fig. 3).
• Put on the shoulder strap, passing it
over your shoulders and under your
armpits towards the back, cross it over
and pull through the vertical loops to
secure to the front corset fastener (Fig.
4).
• Alternatively you can use the vertical
strap and regulate the pressure
applied to the back. Pass the shoulder
strap over your shoulders and then
under your armpits. Then pull the strap
through the buckle belonging to the
horizontal strap, turn the Velcro tab at
the end of the strap over and attach
this to the fastener at the front (Fig.
5/6).
Care instructions
Velcro fasteners should be closed for
washing. Soap residues, lotions and
ointments can cause skin irritation and
material wear.
• Wash the product by hand, preferably
using medi clean washing agent.
• Do not bleach.
• Leave to dry naturally.
• Do not iron.
• Do not dry clean.
    

Storage instructions

Keep the product in a cool, dry place and
do not expose to direct sunlight.
