avoid fire or shock risks.

To limit UPS unit overheating, do not cover ventilation openings and avoid exposing the unit to direct sunlight
or installing it near heating devices, such as radiators or ovens.

Do not connect the UPS unit to devices other than computers, such as medical and intensive care machines,
microwave ovens and vacuum cleaners.

Do not connect the UPS unit to its own outlet.

Do not let liquids or other external materials enter the UPS unit. Do not leave canned beverages or recipients
with liquids over or near the unit.

If an emergency situation occurs, press OFF (to switch it off) and disconnect the unit power cord.

Do not connect UPS unit to power base plates or surge protection devices.

If the UPS unit is inside a metal chassis, it must be grounded to make sure current dispersion does not exceed
3.5mA.

Always account for possible shock risks. Even if the unit was disconnected from the power source, the
presence of dangerous voltage generated by the batteries cannot be excluded. Therefore, the batteries must
be disconnected at positive and negative poles of quick release connectors, before performing maintenance
or repairs on the UPS unit.
