SETTING THE POWER REGULATOR
Model 251 and 251–EU Impact Wrench incorporates a
power regulator mechanism that allows the operator to
regulate the power output in both directions. To adjust the
power, proceed as follows:
The numbers 1 thru 4 on the housing are only for
reference and DO NOT denote a specific power output.
One (1) designates the lowest power while four (4)
denotes the highest.
LUBRICATION
Ingersoll–Rand No. 50
Always use of an air line lubricator with these tools.
We recommend the following Filter–Lubricator–Regulator
Unit:
For International– No. C26–C4–A29
For U.S.A. – No. C22–04–G00
After each forty–eight hours of operation, or as
experience indicates, inject about 4 cc of the
recommended grease into the Grease Fitting.

For full power in both directions, rotate the Power
Regulator Assembly (11), on the underside of the housing,
until the number 4 on the Regulator aligns with the notch
on the housing.
For reduced power in both directions, select the power
required by rotating the Power Regulator Assembly (11),
on the underside of the housing, until the appropriate
number on the Regulator aligns with the notch on the
housing.
