Caution!
The pressure reducer is not a shut-off valve. Even if it is completely closed, it is still
possible for a small quantity of oxygen to escape. You should therefore always be
sure to close the oxygen cylinder valve after use.

4.4 Storage

If the pressure is not going be used for a considerable length of time, we recommend the
following procedure:
1. Clean the pressure reducer (see "5. Hygienic preparation" on page 19).
2. Store the pressure reducer in a dry place.
Caution!
Be sure to observe the maintenance intervals for stored units as well, as otherwise
the unit must not be used when removed from storage.

4.5 Calculating contents

Oxygen content = cylinder volume x cylinder pressure.

2. Close the valve on the oxygen cylinder by turning it to
the right.
3. In the case of variable or multistep pressure reducers,
set the flow to "0". This will prevent pressure hammer
in the fittings when the oxygen cylinder is opened again
later.
