    Disconnect power to the fan location before installing and wiring the fan and 0–10 V module! If required by your local electrical code, a licensed electrician must install the fan and 0–10 V module.     1. Install controller(s) The 0–10 V module requires two separate 0–10 V channels for light and fan control. For full functionality, two wall controllers are required, or one automation controller with multiple 0–10 V channels is required. Consult the instructions included with the wall controller or automation controller you are installing for product specific wiring diagrams and specifications.

    2. Replace fan power supply cable Before installing the fan, remove the power supply cable from the fan’s extension tube and replace it with the cable provided with the 0–10 V module. Make sure the end with the four loose wires is at the top of the extension tube and that the wires are at least 4 in.

    3. Install fan Follow the steps in the fan installation guide to install the fan. Stop and return to these instructions after completing the “Hang Fan” step. Do not proceed with the remaining steps until you have installed the 0–10 V module. Note: After attaching the extension tube to the fan, gently tug on the cables at the top of the extension tube to remove slack.

    4. Wire power tap Use the wire nuts (a) to connect the four wires on the power tap (b) to the four wires from the extension tube. 4.     7. Install module Peel the backing off the double-sided tape on the module, and then affix the module to the mounting bracket in the location shown.
