This appliance is fi tted with an automatic switch-off . After 30 minutes, and with-
out pressing the on/off button 5, the appliance switches itself off automatically.
5 minutes before the appliance switches itself off the red control lamp 3 fl ashes.
Should you wish to continue using the appliance, press the on/off button 5.
The timer is now reset and the 30 minutes start from the beginning again.
NOTICE
► The automatic switch off is only for safety!! It is not intended to replace the
standard switching off when you are fi nished with styling!

► Always disconnect the plug from the mains power socket before cleaning.
There is the danger of receiving an electric shock!

► Let the appliance cool suffi ciently before cleaning it. Risk of burns!
WARNING - PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Do not use any aggressive, abrasive or chemical cleaning agents! These
could damage the surfaces.
■ Clean the appliance only with a lightly moistened cloth.
■ Allow the appliance to dry completely before re-use or before storing it
away.
■ If necessary, wipe the storage bag
■ Clean the fi nger protector in lukewarm water with a little mild detergent. Let it
dry completely before re-use.
Store the cooled and cleaned appliance in the storage bag 8. Store it in a
clean and dry location.
